Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory
DOROTHY ELIZABETH DOBSON
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Helen Viznaugh (Armond), Carlotta St. Godard (Mitch), and son John Dobson (Crystal); grandchildren, Allison (Chris), Lindsay (Becca), Devin (Erica), Sabrina, and Jesse; great-grandchildren, Ella and Ethan; sister Lena May Power, brother Ernest Ferguson, and many other family members and friends.
Mom was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia and in 1968 the family moved to Winnipeg. Lasting friendships were made and events enjoyed through her connection with St. Vital United Church including her passion for singing in the choir and by Carl's side as the church organist. She enjoyed her work as a Nurses Aide at St. Boniface Hospital and absolutely adored and loved all animals! Later in life she got to experience all that farm life had to offer, spending 10 years living in northern Saskatchewan. When mom wasn't listening or singing along to music she could be found watching and cheering for curling, wrestling, the Jets and Bombers or spending time in the garden and taking care of her plants. She was so grateful to be part of the YMCA group participating in weekly fun activities in the company of good friends.
You were a loving wife, mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother, sister,
aunt, and friend who will be missed so so
dearly and remain in our hearts forever.
