KATHLEEN STODGELL

Sadly, with her family by her side, Kathleen Stodgell passed away, at home, on July 10, 2020.
Predeceased by her husband Norman in 2000, and her son Ken in 2010.
Missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Doug (Sandy), Keith, Sherry and Joy (Guy); grandchildren: Kevin, Ryan; Trevor and Curtis; Karli (David); Brandon (Morgan), Justin, Kevin (Melanie) and Kelsey (Errol); Janelle (Mike), Jenna; and great-grandchildren, Matt and Kassandra; Asher; Hailey, Kaitey and Miley; Tyler, Kyrah, Kohen, Kanen, Everly and Leo; Jaela.
Survived by sister Dot, brother Barry (Linda) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Brother Allen (deceased).
Born in Winnipeg in 1932 and grew up in Fisherton, MB. Later moved to Winnipeg where she stayed for many years before retiring to Fisher Branch in 1984. Mom moved back to Winnipeg in her later years to be closer to her family and grandchildren. She was also a member of the W.I.
She loved to garden and worked in her yard from morning to late in the evening every day. The family and grandchildren loved going out there to ride the tractor, play in the river and go for hikes in the bush to explore nature. Many great memories were made at the farm and we will all cherish them forever. And we can't forget the great meals and baking that Mom made. She was a great cook.
An amazing, caring, selfless mother and grandmother who always thought of others before herself. She will be missed by everyone in so many ways.
Mom told everyone she had the best family in the world and I think we came together and proved her right. A special thank you to Janelle who cared for her grandmother and made it possible for her to be at home with her family, which is what she wanted.
A graveside service will be held at a later date with immediate family only.

Love you forever Mom and Grandma.
