LORRAINE BIALEK

It is with heartfelt sorrow we announce the passing of Lorraine Bialek (nee Cameron) on July 10, 2020. Mom passed peacefully with family by her side.
Lorraine was foremost a wonderful wife to her husband Lawrence of 46 years; a devoted mother to her children, Delores (David), Angela (Chris) and Dale (Julie), and a loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Sam, Vera, Ashley, Brendan, Graham, Matthew and Ryan. She also loved the recent addition of a great-grandchild Daniel. Mom loved being around family and being a grandmother and great-grandmother was her most cherished role.
Lorraine was employed for many years as an accountant with the Selkirk Mental Health Centre, Winnipeg Remand Centre and the Manitoba Government.
She enjoyed spending time with family, taking spontaneous adventures that included camping, visiting family in the mountains and travelling to exotic destinations like Spain, Mexico and Portugal among other places.
Gramma B will be missed by many in the Beausejour community, especially her Ruth Place lunch club kids that held a special place in her heart.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Samuel Cameron, brother Roy ,and mother-in-law Adeline. She is survived by her above mentioned family as well as her brother David, father-in-law Walter, and many nieces, nephews and other family.
We would like to send out a huge thank you to the staff at Beausejour Hospital and EMS and the staff at St. Boniface ICU for their support and top notch skill.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I have so many wonderful memories with the family. Lorraine was like a second Mom to me when I was growing up and although we've lost touch through the years, Lorraine will always hold a special place in my heart. RIP Lorraine and much love to Lawrence, my childhood BBF Delores, Angie, Dale and families during this most difficult time. - Posted by: Cathy Greenawalt (friend) on: Jul 18, 2020
