JOHN DAVID LEMKE
July 18, 1975 - July 9, 2020
Left to cherish his memory is his son Brennen and sisters, Mandy (Joel) and Jen. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Miles, Jackson, Chayse, Jayden, Maddox and Delaynie, his stepfather Rick, and many aunts, uncles and friends.
John had a love and gift for music. He could pick up any instrument and play any song by ear. He particularly loved the piano and would often create his own music. To say that John was charming would be an understatement. He could walk into any room and people would instantly fall in love with him. He genuinely loved people, he loved his family, but most importantly, he loved his son more than anything.
John had an incredibly big heart and would do anything for anyone. He touched many lives and he will be greatly missed.
There will be no service.

I as of recently found out and I'm heartbroken such a wonderful person. I had the pleasure of meeting John in the darkest time and the darkest place I hope never to revisit . But John always somehow had a big bright smile, a hug when you needed and a laugh when you didn't. I rem the night before he said in the morning wake me up before you go. To say goodbye. Morning came and I couldn't say it, I was leaving and there he stayed. So here I am saying Goodbye to you my friend and thankyou for being you. I will miss and think of you always, Even more Every time I see a smokie or hot dog LOL R.I.P - Posted by: Keith Barrette (Friend) on: Nov 10, 2020

Terribly sorry to hear about John's passing. We knew eachother since 1992 where we met at a house party and hit it off immediately. 9 years ago we worked together at Ashley. To John's family, please accept my most sincere condolences. - Posted by: Richard Weiss (Friend, colleague) on: Jul 23, 2020

So very sorry to hear of the passing of John. I didn't teach him directly, but did his sister Jennifer. Knew the family through teaching and always had good memories of the good times teaching at Lord Roberts School. I remember John having lots of energy, and maybe a bit of mischief. Hope his son has inherited some of that from John. Best wishes to all his family who will miss him dearly. - Posted by: Carol Luckwell (Teacher) on: Jul 22, 2020
