Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I loved Robert. When I think of Robert, I think of his humour, smile, his cackle for a laugh, his talent (watching him paint was something else!), I also think of the Bee Gees and then I see him dancing with disco moves. I can't help but smile remembering these moments. He was also a good dad. He didn't die a family man and maybe this will be surprising but he meant a lot to my sister and I. He taught me how to ride a bike. He was there making us laugh as kids. I will remember him fondly. Although it feels angering that he had such a short life, and that he had to struggle through his last years like he did. It wasn't fair. He had more to give. No wonder the Bible rightly calls death an enemy (1 Cor 15:26). It's never easy for us to process death, to somehow say goodbye to our loved ones, it never seems like we had enough time. I look forward to seeing him happy and healthy again (John 5:28,29). I know I will see him dancing and laughing once again. I'm sending my love and condolences to others who feel the stinging pain of this loss as well. `Nadia - Posted by: Nadia Dionne (step-daughter) on: Aug 08, 2020

  • We are so sad to hear of Roberts passing. We were privileged to be a part of his family briefly before the breakdown of marriage between my mother and Robert. My sister Nadia and I look back with fondness on the memories shared with Robert. We are sorry that circumstances as a child separated us. We find comfort in knowing we’ll see him again at peace. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away (Revelation 21:3,4) “ - (Job 14:14,15) (John 5:28,29) Tatijana And Matthew Peraud - Posted by: Tatijana Peraud (née Puurula) (Step daughter previously) on: Aug 06, 2020
