MARY DOIG MCLEAN GORIUS
January 6, 1931 - July 17, 2020
She was predeceased by her husband Bill; six brothers and three sisters and is survived by her sister Elizabeth, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary will be missed by her many friends.
Mary and her family moved to Winnipeg from Montreal in 1952. She worked in the printing industry until her retirement. She was an excellent seamstress, knitter and crafter. Mary and Bill loved to travel. They visited Europe and North America. She kept in touch with her family both in Canada and in Scotland. After Bill's passing, she continued her travels across Canada as well as exploring Manitoba alone or on seniors outings. Mary was seldom home and enjoyed being out whether that was sitting on a park bench reading a book or stopping by the casino to test her luck.
Special thanks to the 3rd floor staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. Interment has taken place at Chapel Lawn.

Mary and Bill were close friends of our parents. They spent many happy times together. We were saddened to hear of Mary's passing as our mother also passed away this year. May she rest in peace. Bernice, Bob & Linda. - Posted by: Bernice Kolbuch (Friend) on: Jul 25, 2020
