PAUL VINCENT BRANT

Peacefully, with family by his side, Paul passed away at home on July 24, 2020, at the age of 68 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Elsie Brant, and his brothers, Peter and David.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Linda (of 43 years), also his daughters, Kim (Andrew), Teri (Kirk), Jen (Al); and his treasured grandchildren, Peyton, Taylor, Brady and Mya, Cole and Sarah, Emily and Jayden. He will also leave behind his sister Mary (Al) of St. Catharine's, ON, his brother Tom of Thorhild, AB, and his brother Wayne (Sharon) of Dwight, ON, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Paul was born in Trenton, ON on September 29, 1951. As a military family, life required frequent moves while growing up. Paul ended up settling in Winnipeg, and after meeting the love of his life, Linda, was married on July 30, 1977. Most of his work career was spent with Wolseley Plumbing and Heating as a sales rep and purchasing agent. He also served two terms as a councillor for the RM of Headingley from 2010 to 2018.
While the girls were growing up, the family enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking, boating and spending time on the lake at friends and families cabins. Paul and Linda also enjoyed vacationing in various parts of the world throughout their marriage, visiting almost every Caribbean island along the way. Eventually deciding they wanted a more permanent winter vacation spot, they purchased a trailer in Florida.
In accordance with Paul's wishes, cremation and a private family interment service have taken place at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
