DENNIS RICHARD CHASE
September 15, 1959 - July 21, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis Richard Chase announce his sudden passing at the age of 60.
Dennis is survived by his loving mother and father Joyce and Ralph Chase, brothers, Ken (Bonnie), Len, and Glen (Susan) and sister Linda (Tim), nephews, Brett (Dayna) and Cameron (Courtney), and many aunts and cousins.
Dennis was born and lived in Winnipeg. He was an employee of Motor Coach Industries for over 39 years and developed so many wonderful friendships. Dennis was an energetic and outgoing person. His needs and desires were second to everyone else's. If you needed a computer fixed, he was there. If you needed help in any way, he was there. If you just wanted to talk, he was there. He never turned his back on anyone and cared deeply for those around him.
His true passions were hockey, a challenging game of golf and supporting the MS Society of Manitoba by participating in the MS Bike Tour for many, many years.
The family has made the difficult decision to hold a private family gathering to honour and treasure him, but for those who may wish to honour his memory, a donation can be made, on his behalf, to the MS Society of Manitoba or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Forever in our hearts and thoughts,
but will always, always be missed.
We LOVE you Dennis!

  • My sincere condolences to the family. I have worked with Dennis for the past 7 years. We had many discussions about the Jets and a friendly rivalry as I liked the Bombers and he was all about the Riders! The void he has left behind will take time to adjust to. He will be missed. - Posted by: Sylvie Dorge (Co-worker) on: Aug 04, 2020

  • You have been a good nephew, ready with a joke and willing to help, which was much appreciated. We never did have our lunch together at work so save a table for us when we meet again. Love you. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’• - Posted by: Debby Baker (Aunt) on: Aug 02, 2020

  • Simply put one of the best and special people I've had the pleasure of knowing my entire adult life . When people pass we tend to say that he was a great person etc, but with Dennis it is absolutely the truth you’re left a hole in myself that’s gonna take a very long time to heal. Deepest heartfelt condolences to your family and Rest In Peace my old friend ...... Jay Filbert and family - Posted by: Jay filbert (Friend and workmate) on: Aug 01, 2020

  • The day you left us it broke our hearts. Not just a crack it broke in two, filled with love just for you! That love is not gone is kept safe inside... but when you left, part of us died! We want to remember the bond we share, but the pain in our hearts are so hard to bear. We miss you so much and more everyday and love you much more than words could ever say!
