DENNIS RICHARD CHASE
September 15, 1959 - July 21, 2020
Dennis is survived by his loving mother and father Joyce and Ralph Chase, brothers, Ken (Bonnie), Len, and Glen (Susan) and sister Linda (Tim), nephews, Brett (Dayna) and Cameron (Courtney), and many aunts and cousins.
Dennis was born and lived in Winnipeg. He was an employee of Motor Coach Industries for over 39 years and developed so many wonderful friendships. Dennis was an energetic and outgoing person. His needs and desires were second to everyone else's. If you needed a computer fixed, he was there. If you needed help in any way, he was there. If you just wanted to talk, he was there. He never turned his back on anyone and cared deeply for those around him.
His true passions were hockey, a challenging game of golf and supporting the MS Society of Manitoba by participating in the MS Bike Tour for many, many years.
The family has made the difficult decision to hold a private family gathering to honour and treasure him, but for those who may wish to honour his memory, a donation can be made, on his behalf, to the MS Society of Manitoba or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Forever in our hearts and thoughts,
but will always, always be missed.
We LOVE you Dennis!

Condolences & Memories (12 entries)
My condolences to the Chase family, great memories in the north end. - Posted by: Tony Musto (Friend ) on: Aug 17, 2020
Our sincere condolences to the Chase family. We have not seen Dennis for approximately 7 years but spent many good evenings together at the Portuguese campground, on a Florida vacation, etc. He was always so nice to us & gave us some great computer/tech tips. Even after he stopped hanging with us, he would email us Merry Xmas or tell us he was rooting for Portugal during Eurocup which I thought was super thoughtful of him! Rest In Peace Dennis! - Posted by: Tina & Arthur Vieira (Friend ) on: Aug 11, 2020

No more texting during the hockey games, you the Jets and I the Bruins! No more Friday nights getting together and no more M.S Bike rides again! You taught me so much, especially putting parts together! Your inspiration will guide me for the rest of my life! R.I.P my dear brother Dennis! My heart is empty, but it's full with the love and memories we had together! " Da Jets Da Bruins " your loving brother Glenny, always in my heart forever!!! ♥️🤗😇🥰🙏🏒🚲 - Posted by: Glenn Chase (Brother ) on: Aug 05, 2020
My sincere condolences to the family. I have worked with Dennis for the past 7 years. We had many discussions about the Jets and a friendly rivalry as I liked the Bombers and he was all about the Riders! The void he has left behind will take time to adjust to. He will be missed. - Posted by: Sylvie Dorge (Co-worker) on: Aug 04, 2020
You have been a good nephew, ready with a joke and willing to help, which was much appreciated. We never did have our lunch together at work so save a table for us when we meet again. Love you. 💐💕 - Posted by: Debby Baker (Aunt) on: Aug 02, 2020
Simply put one of the best and special people I've had the pleasure of knowing my entire adult life . When people pass we tend to say that he was a great person etc, but with Dennis it is absolutely the truth you’re left a hole in myself that’s gonna take a very long time to heal. Deepest heartfelt condolences to your family and Rest In Peace my old friend ...... Jay Filbert and family - Posted by: Jay filbert (Friend and workmate) on: Aug 01, 2020
The day you left us it broke our hearts. Not just a crack it broke in two, filled with love just for you! That love is not gone is kept safe inside... but when you left, part of us died! We want to remember the bond we share, but the pain in our hearts are so hard to bear. We miss you so much and more everyday and love you much more than words could ever say! To our dear brother Dennis, gone but never forgotten, always in our hearts forever 😘🤗♥️😪🙏🙏🙏🙏 - Posted by: Glenn and Susan (Brother and sister in law ) on: Aug 01, 2020
Dennis and I worked together for many years, day shift, night shift and best of all the afternoon shift. We played many card games, most favourite was crib. We enjoyed many good times both on and off the job site and those times will be fondly remembered. - Posted by: Bill & Brenda Douglas (co-worker and friend) on: Aug 01, 2020
