  • My condolences to the Nadeau family. I had the pleasure of meeting Lloyd in the early 70's at Macdonald's Consolidated Distribution Centre (Safeway). For almost two decades we met at distribution safety meetings. We were on opposite sides, he being union and myself being management. i would like to complement LLoyd for his passion for his fellow workers in regards to safety in the distribution centre. It was a pleasure working with him all these years and resolving countless issues and safety education seminars. Years ago the Manitoba Red Cross approached me about a blood shortage for surgeries for the upcoming summer months. As the Safeway distribution centre and supply plants had a large number of employees, a good turn out would solve the Red Cross blood shortage for this time period. I would like to thank Lloyd for his influence in helping make this blood donor clinic a success. The Red Cross asked us if this could be an annual event to help them for the summer months. I am thankful for the distribution centre and supply plants employees for making this an annual event. I have a lot of memories of our work together and will miss Lloyd. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Colin Dederick (fellow worker) on: Aug 03, 2020

  • Our heartfelt condolences to Susan and family. We are missing Lloyd’s humour and chats while seeing each other in the back lane or visiting in the gazebo or coffee at the mall. So sad Lloyd left us too soon. Sheryl and Brian. - Posted by: Sheryl Somers (Neighbour ) on: Aug 01, 2020
