PAMELA ELLEN WOLSON

It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Pamela Ellen Wolson on July 25, 2020 at the age of 69 years.
Pamela was born and raised in Winnipeg. She completed her Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Manitoba, and continued to pursue her passion of the French language, studying in France. As a French teacher, she was loved by her students who admired her compassion and kindness.
Pamela is remembered by all who knew her as an intelligent, proud, beautiful, elegant and fiercely independent woman. Her true loves in life were her two children, Sarah and Daniel, and her husband of 43 years, Richard.
Pamela enjoyed travelling with her family and friends, and spending time with her dogs, Chloe and then Charley. She was a voracious reader, a spectacular cook and an avid gardener. Pamela was most fortunate to have shared in a wonderful marriage, filled with love and laughter. Our family is forever grateful to the many close and caring friends who were an integral part of our lives.
As Pamela became ill, her dear friends dedicated their time and love while standing by her side throughout her journey. We thank Pamela's many care companions who were unconditionally devoted to her always. Finally, we are grateful to the staff at the Simkin Centre for their endless care and support.
Pamela is survived by her husband Richard, children, Sarah and Daniel, and sisters, Robin Drutz (Harold) and Susan Hoffer (Sy Konkol). She was predeceased by her brother Michael Hoffer and parents, Ethel and Ephraim Hoffer.

We will love you always and forever.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
