TILLIE LUCENKO

January 25, 1928 - August 1, 2020

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Tillie following a lengthy battle with dementia.
Tillie was born near Fairlight, Saskatchewan along with seven other siblings to John and Anne Leskiw. She moved to Winnipeg where she met her husband, Mike, on a blind date to the Red River Ex, who she is now reunited with.
Tillie is survived by her daughter Sharon, grandsons, Glen (Kelly) and Colin, great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Lexan and Briella, her sisters, Nettie, Agnes, Stella and Carol, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Steve, sister Olga and a sister who died at birth.
Tillie loved gardening, which included flowers and vegetables, her daily vodka and orange juice and taking rides to the Half Moon in Lockport for fries. She was always very health-conscious, which included walking, biking and playing sports into her 80s.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time. A memorial event may take place in the future for family and friends.
