JAMES (JIM) RIEDIGER
November 19, 1951 July 29, 2020
Jim is survived by his son Ryan Cousins (Neta); daughter Christy Cousins; grandchildren, Bailey and Brooke and his brother Jack (Bev). He was predeceased by his parents, Abe and Frieda.
Jim was born, raised and lived much of his life in Morden, Manitoba. He had a long and rewarding career in the agriculture industry, working in the family business, J P Riediger & Sons, as well as United Grain Growers and Monsanto.
Jim enjoyed skiing and was an avid golfer, but his real passion was for cars. All cars. His two favourite cars were his rebuilt 1967 Chevelle SS and his 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner. They were always meticulously clean and cared for. He loved road trips and enjoyed driving anywhere, any time.
There will be a private celebration of Jim's life at a later date.
Rest in peace Jim, you will be missed.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)
I worked with Jim at Monsanto. Jim was a definite pleasure to know and work with. His love of hamburgers, spreadsheets and his drive to get it done always impressed me. Although i was younger than Jim by 10 years he was always 20 years ahead of me with any computer system, from learning it, to using it and was always adapting our processes. People half his age were no where near as flexible as Jim was with both computers and change. HE WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH, WITH A SIDE ORDER OF FRIES "LET ME TELL YAH!....." - Posted by: Mark Letwin (worked with Jim at Monsanto) on: Aug 11, 2020
My condolences on Jim's passing. He was a wonderful boss and I had a blast working with him in Vermilion. A real mentor. Matt R. - Posted by: Matt Richter (former employee) on: Aug 10, 2020
