Condolences & Memories (6 entries)
Jim showed the youth in our area that sportsmanship and dedication to a team built character. He coached our son in hockey out of KW and instilled the notion that excellent values, matter even at an early age. We appreciated that he spent his time helping our son develop good hockey skills. Please find comfort knowing that others care. May he Rest In Peace. We are so sorry for your loss - Posted by: Joanna LaForte (Acquaintance) on: Sep 15, 2020
I spent many years working with Jim at North Associates and enjoyed Jim's sense of humor. He was always very up-beat and full of bubbling life which made him good in his function as a promoter and sales person. I remember JIM as a gentle family man who loved his wife and children. My family spent weekends up at Jim's dad's summer and winter cottage and was always very appreciative of being included in their weekend ski trips to the Carmen area, While working for North Associates, Jim and I bought identical Toyota vans and we used to joke about our moonie vehicles as they were very futuristic looking. Jim was very lucky to have been in such a close-knit family who were always around him and loved him dearly. I know he will be greatly missed and I believe he left this world after improving it. - Posted by: Robert Nichols (Friend) on: Aug 18, 2020
We are very saddened to learn of Jim's passing and extend our condolences to the North family. Lynn, you were a rock for Jim with your dedicated care that allowed Jim to enjoy life and family so far beyond his initial diagnosis but that was a quality of you we came to admire. Love from all the Westmacotts. - Posted by: The Westmacotts (Friends) on: Aug 09, 2020
My sincere condolences Nick and Mignon and to your beautiful family. May you find comfort in memories you cherish and through loved ones and friends. I’m so thankful that I had a chance to meet your Dad at one of Layla’s birthday parties. One day at a time... praying for your healing! Our condolences to you, Lynn, your family and also to Wendy and the rest of the family. Brain cancer is a horrible disease and Jim coped remarkably when we saw him. A good man gone too soon. - Posted by: Hanne and Ole Hansen (friends) on: Aug 08, 2020
Jim and Lynn were our neighbours and friends when our families were very young. We treasure the memory of our time on Dickens Drive with many wonderful friends. Through the years we have kept in contact; they both are dear to our hearts. Thank you Lynn for your example of caring and devotion to your amazing husband. Much love and hugs Jack and Dee - Posted by: Deanna and Jack Szakacs (Friend) on: Aug 08, 2020
