November 21, 1945 - August 5, 2020
Violet was predeceased by her daughter Barbara (Barry), her brothers, Bing and Billy and her longtime companion Ernie Labovich.
She is survived by her sisters, Anne, Eleanor and Geraldine, daughters, Charlotte (Mark), Brenda (Wes), and Laura (Marc) and son Willie (Lisa). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her very special friend, Dave Corcoran.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Kildonan Park, 2015 Main Street, Winnipeg in the Deer and Fox shelters at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2020. Social distancing and face coverings are encouraged. Please bring your own lawn chairs.

To everybody who loved Auntie Vi. Please accept condolences from my mom, Annette and from myself, Doris, and the rest of my family. One of my favourite people. I remember Laura and I always getting in trouble from Auntie, for eating all those chokecherries (I don't remember why). Auntie was a wonderful soul who truly loved living, laughing and loving. Miss you and miss spending time with the family we well. I just found this obituary today, right now. I am sorry, I missed my chance to say good bye.
