REGINALD CHARLES CASSIE
February 24, 1941 - August 10, 2020
Reg leaves behind his brother Norm (Sylvia), sister Elaine (Bill and Family), his son Donnie (Joyce and Family), sister-in-law Pat and family. He was predeceased by wife Diane, mom Helen, brothers, Marshall, Donald and his partner of over 40 years, Bernice.
For the last five years, Reg resided at Cathedrale Manor where he enjoyed socializing with fellow neighbours. Special thanks to Rhonda and helpful staff. While living at his home on Bannerman Avenue, Reg and Bernice enjoyed gardening and listening to his record collection, in particular Elvis. He also enjoyed reading and writing poetry.
The family thanks HSC Dialysis and other medical staff, notably the 3rd and 4th floor wards for their exceptional care of our brother.
There will be a private family graveside service at Brookside Cemetery later this summer.

To Reg's family: Our love and heartfelt sympathy on Reg's passing. We were fortunate to have visited Reg while he was in the hospital in March. We shared some good conversation and fond memories. Reg's positive attitude towards life and his great love for Bernice will always be remembered. They are now reunited in Heaven. Elaine, Norman & families. My sincere condolences on Reg's passing. It is with fond memories living on Atlantic Avenue down the street from the Cassie family. Reg and I worked in the same department at MCI for many years and he was always a gentleman and friend to his fellow work mates.
