MICHAEL JAMES MCINTYRE
November 1, 1981 - August 10, 2020
Michael leaves to mourn his parents, Richard and Patti McIntyre and sister Shannon. Left to cherish his memory are Uncles Barry (Ferne) Bracken and Wayne (Laurie) Bracken; Aunt JeanAnne Sekella; Uncle Ted (Mary Anne) McIntyre; Aunt Charlotte (Dirk) Hullmann; and cousins, James, Richard and Matthew McIntyre, Bruce and Michael Sekella, Warren, Lore Hullmann, Jennifer (Semach) Otani, Robert Otani, Kathryn, John and Dexter Bracken.
He was predeceased by grandparents, Jack and Vera Bracken, and Ted and Rose McIntyre; and Aunt Mary (Tak) Otani.
Michael was a kind and caring person with a good sense of humour and was always up to playing a harmless prank on someone! He was never afraid to give his opinion on a subject and defend it until he had almost convinced you that you were maybe wrong. He enjoyed watching golf, hockey and football both CFL and NFL.
He enjoyed hunting, especially for "chickens" and also enjoyed fishing. Some of the happiest times were spent fishing at Trout Lake, Ontario and afterwards enjoying a game of crib with the "K's". His love for animals included the family pets and any wildlife that would walk through the yard.
Michael loved tools and was always buying something new. However, he was very particular who he would let use them...as they had to be properly taken care of.
A private service was held on Friday, August 21, 2020.
Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Manitoba Wildlife Foundation.
Our family is truly blessed for all the support we have received during this difficult time.

We are so sorry about the sudden passing of Mike. We wish we could find words that would relieve your pain, but we cannot imagine what they are. Losing a child is one of the saddest life experiences possible, and words of true comfort are difficult to find. He was a great guy to deal with as he was always happy and welcoming when he sees someone he knows. We were heart broken and truly sad when we learnt about his sudden passing.
