June 29, 1939 - August 13, 2020

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Martha was predeceased by her husband, Stanley; father, Albert; mother, Colette; and sister, Ida. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara [Brian], Debbie [Ed], Tammy [Benji]; and sisters, Olga [Walter], Julliette [Peter], Stella and Jeanette [Terry]; and grandchildren, Austin, Jesse, Avery, Kailyn; and great-granddaughter Aria; also numerous nieces and nephew's.
Martha lived most of life as a rancher's wife, which she loved dearly.
Her passions were hunting, fishing, and trapping. She especially looked forward to yearly hunting trips with her sister and nephew.
As per Martha's wishes there will be no funeral service. A private family service will take place at a later date.
Special thanks to the staff at Stonewall General Hospital for making Martha comfortable in her final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I offer my deepest sympathies to Martha’s family. I remember the visits to our home while we were kids and always enjoyed each other’s company. Thinking of all of you! - Posted by: Elvier Brunel (Cousin. Beasse) on: Sep 23, 2020

  • I’m so sorry to hear of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother’s passing. I still can remember her laughter and humor (never a dull moment) whenever I was over for a evening (which was quite often). May you take comfort in knowing she Is with your dad again and relish in the fond memories that she left each of you with. - Posted by: Sandra Sigurdson (long lost friend of Her daughters.) on: Aug 20, 2020
