ROBERT CHRISTOPHER GUY SAUER
Robbie was born on February 19, 1991 in Winnipeg, MB. He spent his early years enjoying the outdoors, and fishing with his parents and siblings. He loved the outdoors, and had a deep love for his family. Robbie was looking forward to returning to Winnipeg and rebuilding relationships that meant so much to him. He looked forward to seeing his children, and becoming the father he desperately wanted to be.
Anyone who knew Robbie knew that he loved his family. Despite his struggles, he made it through tough times, and was hopeful for a better life when returning to Winnipeg. Robbie wanted more than anything to reconnect and be surrounded by the love of his family.
Robbie is predeceased by his grandparents, Herbert and Erika Sauer. He is survived by his children, Kingston and Keira; his parents, Martin Sauer and Wendy Sauer; his siblings, Jessica, James, Christopher; and brother-in-law, Roberto; his grandparents, Heather and Thomas Lowe; aunts and uncles, Michael (Wendy), Rob, Dennis (Ivett), Heather (Chad), David (Shelley), Brian, Trish (Cameron), Michael, Tamara (Tony), Kyle; and cousins, Jacob, Joshua, Hailey, Isabella, Sarah, Nicole, Ethan, Katie, Matthew, and many more.
The family requests that donations, in lieu of flowers, be sent to Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society for Kingston Sauer in honour of his father's memory, and/or to Overdose Awareness Manitoba.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends on August 22, 2020, at 322 Stanley Avenue, Selkirk, MB, from 1:00 p,m. to 3:00 pm.

I am deeply sorry to hear about Robert’s passing. I am a legal advocate and I was working with Robert on a human rights case before he passed. I knew him to be a caring man and I always enjoyed speaking with him. I would be grateful for the chance to speak with his family about continuing the work we started. I can be reached at 604-636-0470 or nkief@pls-bc.ca. We wish his family support and comfort during this difficult time. - Posted by: Nicole Kief (Legal Advocate) on: Sep 21, 2020
