DAVID GRANT JONES
Born in Winnipeg on October 7, 1934, David is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine, of 67 years; his daughters, Wendy (Martin) Wagner (Rachel, Kate (Tyler), Brenda (Murray) Greenley (Andrea (Mike) and great-grandson Kyle, Keith (Kelsey), Loreen (Mark) Coutts (Corinne, Sean (Amanda) and great-grandson Jameson) and Cindy (Don) Violi (Zachary, Megan).
He will be missed by his sister-in-law Leslie; and lifelong family friends, Randy and Gail, and Butch and Nancy.
He was predeceased by his mother, Gladys Jones, in 1986.
David retired from his 40 year career with the CP Express in 1990.
In his wallet we found the
following handwritten note...
My life on earth is truly past
I've loved you all to the very last
Weep not for me but courage take
And love one another for my sake
Love Dad
David requested that there will be no funeral and we are honouring his wishes.
