WILLIAM TERRENCE CASEY
Born in Winnipeg, August 22, 1952, Terry was the eldest son of the late William (Buzz) and Patricia (Keefe) Casey. Terry lived a full but short life. Very sports-minded, Terry golfed, was on the Kelvin High School football team. He played ball hockey managing to keep up with younger brother Jamie and Jamie's friends. Until a few years ago Terry enjoyed softball and he was very proud this season to hand down his glove to nephew Liam to carry on the game. And of course Terry coached the big Blue and the Jets from the comforts of his sofa. Terry never missed an opportunity to spend time at the Ingolf cottage where he was always busy with some project. He enjoyed nothing more than having friends and family visit at the lake, especially the nieces and nephews to share with them his 'Center of the Universe'. The newest generation Jackson, Quinton and Emily sent videos of their week at the lake to Terry while he was in the hospital and his face just lit up.
Terry will be forever loved, missed and remembered by his wife Wendy, his siblings, Joy (Don), Jane (Terry), Stephanie (Rick), Stephen (Marion) and Jamie (Evelyn), mother-in-law Elizabeth Watkins and Wendy's siblings, David, Susanne, Vicky, Margaret, Gordon and their partners, many nieces and nephews and a multitude of lifelong friends.
Wendy would like to thank Jamie and Evelyn, Stephanie and Vicky for all their love, help and support, Doug for the rides, Rob for helping get Terry back to the lake for a few days, Peter for the new stairs, Mike and Dave for the calls and visits and to Benchmark Advertising for being the most generous employer ever.
Thank you to the staff at CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview Health Centre 3 East for the exceptional care provided to Terry.
Due to Covid-19 precautions, we will be having a small private family service.

Dear Wendy: A long, long time since we connected which I believe was by voice when I visited Dave in Edmonton in 2010. I am very sorry to hear about the death of Terry. The milestones always and should take us back to reflect. While I did not know Terry his picture and my knowledge of you from early days indicates easily to me that Terry was a great fellow. I hope you are okay and well. Say hello to your mother for me, and take care. Best regards, Don - Posted by: Don Meisner (long standing friend) on: Aug 24, 2020
