MARIANNE ELFRIEDE FLERIC
(nee KIRCHNER)
March 23, 1941 – August 17, 2020
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hans, daughters, Diane and Stephanie (Russell), and grandchildren, Kayla, Sarah, Eric, and Nicole. She is also mourned by her "other" daughter, Ramona Schwark.
Born in Waldenburg, Schlesien, she endured many hardships growing up in war-torn Germany. Her faith in God got her through many difficult times throughout her life, and she taught us to never lose hope. Mom was a hard worker, and did whatever it took to make ends meet, to keep her family fed, warm, and loved. She was known to all for her kindness and warmth, and was always quick to smile. She loved to dance, bowl, and play cards with her best friends.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the pandemic, there will be no funeral.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
Rest in peace, Oma.
