GEORGE THOMSON

While surrounded by his family, George Thomson passed peacefully on August 18, 2020 in Edmonton, AB.
Survived by his loving wife Sherry, sons, Rayme (Michelle) and Travis (Marisa), and granddaughters, Emma and Ellie, as well as sisters, Arlene and Debbie (Adrian), and many extended family members and friends.
George spent many years in the car business, behind his tools in the shop building classic cars and making anything operate more efficiently.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and those whose lives he touched in Manitoba, Alberta and BC. George will be forever remembered and respected by all those whose lives were embettered because of him.

Rest now, painless and free.

With thankfulness, George wished to recognize all of the caring medical staff at the U of A Hospital; he was appreciative of the doctoral team and support staff who cared for him daily.
Memorial to be determined by the family at a later time.

  • 42 years ago I sold dealer supplies to George. He got me into making him mud flaps, while he was at Derrick dodge. He was my first customer because of him I’ve build it into a big business. Selling thousands of dealers my mudflaps with dealers names on them. I owe him so so much! Thank you George May. When we meet again in the nest world, I can’t Wait to sell you more stuff.
