It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Margarida Hamm.
Margarida touched the lives of many and will forever be missed.
Left to mourn are her husband Manfred Hamm, of 48 years; her children, Claudia (Hildor), Darlene (Mike) and Marvin (Nicky); as well as her beloved grandchildren, Emily, Thomas, Janelle, Justin and Ryan.
Family and friends were so important to her and she loved each and every person she crossed paths with.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic there will only be a small, private family service. There will be a viewing open to the public on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A public graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Transcona Cemetery, 5014 Dugald Road.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Mennonite Central Committee - a cause very near and dear to her heart.

  • As a co-worker of Margarida's I have nothing but fond memories of her from our DeFehr Division days. She was one of the few people I worked with who understood the challenges and frustrations I felt working there. I also got to know her brothers, Bert and Walter and realized what an amazing and caring family they came from! My deepest condolences to Manfred and family, Bert, and Walter. She will be missed!! - Posted by: Gerry Teigrob (Former Co-worker) on: Aug 27, 2020
