ALVA GREEN

We think of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.
All we have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake from which we'll never part.
God has you in His keeping; we have you in our heart.
A wife, mother, grandma and special friend too, this is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger passionate person would be hard to find, and in your heart, you were always kind.
Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear.
It's been a year since God took you home. We know you are around, you send us signs when we need them most. To the blue skies above or the Monarch butterflies that appear.
Always remembered, loved, forever in our hearts. So sending thoughts to heaven on the day you went away and hope you know you're missed more than words could ever say.
