EDITH M. POLLOCK
(QUINN)
November 26, 1919 – August 21, 2020
Born and raised in Winnipeg, she married Michael Pollock in 1953 and spent ten years living in Southern California returning to Winnipeg in 1965. Edie worked in the Baby Department at both Eatons Downtown and Sears Polo Park. She was active in the Kirkfield Park United Church UCW and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Predeceased by her husband Mike in 1976; parents, Robert and Margaret Quinn, and brothers, Robert and Gordon.
Edie is survived by her daughter, Linda Gallant (Lyle), their children, Laura, Mark (Stefanie) and Reid (Jennifer); her great-grandchildren, Taylor, Blakely (Reid) and Camila (Mark); her daughter, Lori Klos (Brian), their children, Jennifer (Barry) and Leanne (Devin).
Edie's family would like to thank the staff of Lion's Manor Supportive Housing for taking such good care of our mom for the last five years, and the staff of Lion's Manor Personal Care Home for her last few weeks.
There will be no formal service. Enjoy a cup of tea in Edie's memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lion's Manor Support Housing or to a charity of your choice.
