• Niels was a kind man, always willing to share, and had a story for every occasion. Most of them elicited laughter. We will miss his wry sense of humor and kind personality, dinner parties that lasted late into the evening and the occasional game of golf that saw him wear a new golf shirt almost every time..... • A Good Friend Niels was an interesting guy, always telling specific stories about specific past trips around the world dating back to when he was a young man. A fist full of information as to where the latest shopping sales were to be had. A great husband and friend. You couldn't do a golf game/dinner or outing without Niels bringing a foreign name beer and insisting you try it. Niels loved to play golf (chop chop Jo-Ann get in the cart) always made us laugh. Our gatherings/ golf games and outings here at home and down south without Niels will leave a definite void. On a positive note Jo-Ann, when the time comes, I'm sure Niels will have everything lined up and organized for the rest of us. • My uncle was such a kind man with a big heart. Always smiling and making sure that his family was well cared for. And he always had such great stories to share from the many places he travelled to and would always teach us something new. Our lives will forever be changed.
