(nee SHEWFELT) (formerly CRABTREE)
Anne was born to Stan and Vivian Shewfelt of Somerset, Manitoba on October 26, 1940, at Mrs. Robbins' Nursing Home in Crystal City, Manitoba. Anne attended Kingsley Rural School, Richard Collegiate and the University of Manitoba. She married her very special love, Thomas Crabtree, in 1960. Anne and Thomas briefly lived in Kenora, Ontario before making their way to Berkeley, California. Anne continued to live in the San Francisco Bay Area until the time of her passing.
Anne was predeceased by a daughter at birth (1960), her first husband Thomas Crabtree (1966), her father Stan (1997), her mother Vivian (2005), and her brother Barry (2010). Left to cherish the memories of her loving, adventurous and determined spirit, in addition to her wry sense of humour, are: daughters, Sherryl Crabtree and Laurie Tobias; grandsons, Vinnie, Justin and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Kayla, Luke and Jacob (all residing in the San Francisco Bay Area); sister Elaine Sharpe (Brandon, MB); numerous nieces and nephews, and former husband Alan Dalton.
Following Anne's wishes, her cremains are to be spread in her beloved Pacific Ocean at a future time.

Sincere condolences to Anne's daughters Sherryl and Laurie, her sister Elaine and other immediate family members.
