HELEN ELLIS
She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, James, son Gary, her sister Jean, and her parents, Michael and Maria Kowalyshyn. Mom will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda (Terry) Penner, son David, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their care and compassion.
Per Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place and private celebration of her life will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helen's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

Aunty Helen was my god mother and my mom’s only sister. Many fun times and family gatherings in our younger years. We lost touch when my mom passed in 1976 but I have fond memories of Aunty Helen, Uncle Jim, Gary, Linda and David. Thinking of Linda, Terry and David thru this very sad time. Auntie Helen was a gem of a lady! We have lots of great memories! Enjoyed our many chats on the phone as well as our many visits to her home and care home! She will be missed dearly! Big hugs to the family! May she Rest in Peace. My deepest condolences to the family. I loved your Mom like she was my own. My memories of her are filled with love, and all the wonderful times I spent with her.
