It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Edith Anderson (Nan) at the age of 82 years of Lundar, MB.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Elwood), Melinda (Duane) and daughter-in-law Gloria; grandchildren, Stash (Joe), Sheridan (Amy), Sabrina (Brandon), Garrit (Samantha), Courtney (Vincent), Ashton and Colin; great-grandchildren, Chaz, John and Kai; brother Victor and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She is also survived by her adoptive grandchildren, Cody, Maria, Andy, Ty, and Lara-Lee.
Mom was predeceased by her son Barry, her parents, Andrew and Anna Anderson, brother Carl, sisters, Agnes, Hilda and Annie.
Mom was born April 11, 1938 in Deerhorn, Manitoba. She had a real love for cooking and baking and was well known for it. She loved going to bingo, getting her pick three tickets and her soap operas and game shows. Also, she loved going for drives with Melinda and making a stop for ice cream.
We will miss her daily phone calls. Mom, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you.
The family wishes to thank all the nurses and doctors at the E. M. Crowe Memorial Hospital in Eriksdale and the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg for their care and compassion.
A private graveside memorial service will be held in the Lundar Municipal Cemetery.
