JAMES NICHOLAS DUDAR
Born on October 3, 1940, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jim is survived by his wife of 11 years, Louise (nee Menard), his three sons, Jason and his wife Shonna; Trevor and his wife Theresa; and Glenn: his eight grandchildren, Megan (Drew), Bethany (David), Paige, Russell, Lauren, Hayden, Jacob and Joshua; his five great-grandchildren, Elisabeth, Poppy, Patience, Skipper and Ezra; and his sister Diane Babienko (Frank). Jim was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Sharon (nee McCloy), his great-granddaughter Goldie, and his parents, Peter and Mary.
Jim was beloved by his entire family and leaves behind a legacy of steadfast love and devotion as a husband, and as a firm and loving father, who instilled a strong work ethic in all three of his boys, and left them with a plethora of Jim-isms, which they'll continue to site to each other whenever they get together. Papa Jimé will be remembered by his grandchildren for his raucous play, his loud laugh and his schmucks.
As a family we have been blessed to have had Jim as our patriarch, his laugh will be sorely missed at all our family celebrations, but we take comfort in our confidence that he is with his Creator and those who have gone before him. Rest well Papa Jimé we love you.
Due to pandemic restrictions a private, family graveside service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to Alzheimer Society Canada in grateful recognition of their assistance - Alzheimer.ca

So sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. He was a great guy. I admired him so much. We had lunch with Jim & Louise before they were married in Vancouver. Jim was a to the point guy and got things done. Louise Jason Trevor and Glenn my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have so much respect for Jim it’s hard to put it in words. Just remember the great times you shared I will for sure. Jim was on the Board at Semiahmoo House when I was Executvie Director. He was always so helpful, thoughtful and quietly passionate. He had a huge role in approval of the purchases and direction that ultimately became Corus which is providing crucial housing for folks with disabilities. I will always treasure his warmth, kindness and support. My thoughts and prayers are with Louise and all Jim’s family during this awful time. God bless and keep you all - Posted by: Paul Wheeler (Colleague at Semiahmoo House Society ) on: Sep 08, 2020
