Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • I am so saddened when I heard the news. My deepest condolences Chris and Steve. Your mom got me through some difficult times when my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She gave such great advice and I am forever grateful. She would bring us donuts every Saturday and we would chat and then she would sit and read the paper. I still think that she is going to walk through the door Saturday wearing amazing outfits. She had great taste in clothing. She will forever be in my heart. I miss her everyday. Hugs and kisses - Posted by: Angie Buchanan (Friend ) on: Nov 23, 2020

  • I was saddened to hear of the passing of Zoe Albi. I met her via my mother who did legal work through Sam Sarbit for many years. My mum, who has also sadly passed, spoke highly of Zoe. When I met Zoe, I knew what my mum was talking about. Zoe was a sweet, warm person who made those she worked with feel welcomed. I truly enjoyed meeting Zoe on several occasions and my heart goes out to members of Zoe's family and Sam Sarbit who have lost a real treasure. - Posted by: Sheri Oberman (Business client) on: Oct 03, 2020

  • I am so sorry for your loss, Krissy and Steve. My love and prayers to you both. I am truly saddened and devastated by the loss of your mom. She was such a special person who lit every room she walked into. She had such a love for life and the most positive outlook on everything. She was like a mom to me and I am a better person for her love, wisdom, wit and being invited into the Albi family. On this day I am remembering Guy, and the special bond they shared; like no other I have ever seen. Big hugs to you Krissy and Steve. - Posted by: Debbie von Euw (Family Friend) on: Sep 18, 2020

  • My deepest condolences to you, Krissy on the passing of your Mom. Zoe was always warm, kind and friendly to me and she had an infectious smile that brightened any room and she always made you feel special. She had a great sense of style and she was always dressed so nicely. I know your hearts are aching right now and I am truly sorry for your loss. Hugs to you and Steve. - Posted by: Shauna Filuk (Acquaintance ) on: Sep 01, 2020

  • Our deepest sympathies to you, Chris & Steve, on your Mom's passing. We'll remember her fondly as a vibrant and loving lady who was always interested in what was going on in our lives. She was a wonderful friend to our Mom, most especially in Mom's later years and before her passing last year. She will be truly missed......our love and prayers to you both. • I was so saddened and sorry to hear of Zoe's passing. I worked at land titles and was happy to get to know Zoe. What a wonderful, warm, generous person she was. She would bring us chocolate bars sometimes and tickets to the lottery soup luncheon every year. She was so friendly. We were also connected through Sam Sorbits hairdresser, Sal, as he was my good friend Angela's boyfriend, who sadly, we lost Angie to cancer almost 4 years ago. Zoe was also at the dance studio I go to to watch Sal do his dance showcase. I didn't see Zoe often but I will miss her smile, her laugh and her happy disposition. What a true gem. ❤️ - Posted by: Laverne Adolphe (Friend) on: Aug 29, 2020
