Debbie is survived by her husband Cliff, daughter Nicole (Kelly) and son Shawn; as well as her sisters, Bev, Lori (John) and Jane (Bruce); brothers, Wes (Sherry) and Floyd (Louise), and her nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by Katrina and Chloe, who Debbie thought of as granddaughters.

I met Debbie years ago when we both were volunteering at Oxford Heights. She was always willing to help out wherever doing whatever was needed from running the canteen to working at a social. She was always friendly with everyone. In later years I would always try to get in her checkout line at Walmart so we could spend some time chatting and catching up. My sister Debbie was a very strong woman. She had many interests and loved most sports. She loved animals and people but most of all she loved to talk and was willing to converse about most subjects. She was an avid reader until she became sick. She cared for her mother and made the bus trip To HSC from Transcona every day to be with Mother.
