  • Mr. Carriere. Meetings in the hall. Do I need to say more? ;) His laugh, passion and zest for life will certainly be missed. He never beat around the bushes (maybe lockers?) but always pushed students to do their best. À votre famille, veuillez accepter mes plus sincères condoléances. Repose en paix, Mr. Carriere. - Posted by: Kristi Puszkar (Gehon) (Former Student/Family Friend) on: Sep 04, 2020

  • I had Mr. Carrière for math at John Henderson. I will always remember just how passionate he was about math. He taught French math and I remember forgetting to do my homework 1 time. That’s all it took. After a quick meeting in the hall one on one I never forgot to do it again. He taught me to responsible and held us young scholars to a higher standing than we saw within ourselves. I’m now 45 yrs old living in the US and just graduated to be a teacher. I never got back to say thank you to Mr. Carrière - but somehow I think he would’ve known. Thank you, God Speed - Rest easy, and rest comfortably Mr. Carrière. My condolences to your entire family. - Posted by: Jamie Benzelock (Former Student ) on: Sep 02, 2020

  • It is so sad to hear of Mr. Carriere passing. He will be sadly missed by the grade 6 Governor Semple reunion group. We shared a lot of great memories that evening. We all walked with Mr. Carriere to the school and took a lot of pictures. It was wonderful too see him again. - Posted by: Richard Hares (Former Student) on: Sep 02, 2020
