ALEXANDER HUNTER ROGERS
Budd was born on a farm near Brookdale, MB. After attending Brookdale and Carberry schools, he operated a plumbing and heating business in Morden, MB. After 10 years there, the family moved to Winnipeg where he worked for the Province of Manitoba in the Department of Labour, Mechanical and Engineering Division.
He married Marion Switzer in 1950 and they were about to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary in July. Budd is survived by his two sons, Don (Hazel) and Gary. Their daughter Linda (Michael) passed away in 2008. He is also survived by grandchildren, Bob, Sherry, Michelle, Sarah, Patricia, David and Joanne, and eight great-grandchildren.
Budd enjoyed winters in Victoria, BC, many car trips in Canada and the U.S., and cruises, but most of all he enjoyed spending many hours in his workshop.
The family would like to thank "Daughter on Call" in Carberry for their round the clock care.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
