DOREEN ELIZABETH HOLM

Early in the morning on August 28, 2020, with family at her bedside, Doreen Holm 88, passed peacefully away at Calvary Place Personal Care Home.
Doreen was born in Claresholm, Alberta on November 25, 1931 and was currently residing in Winnipeg after lengthy stays in Montreal, St. John's and Ottawa.
She will be greatly missed by Frank, her husband of 63 years; her children, Randall (Olive) Holm, Carl (Debbie) Holm, Gordon (Debbie) Holm; her grandchildren, Laura (Adam), Andrew (Deidre), Matthew (Holly), Jeffrey (Regan), Timothy; her great-grandchildren, Rae, Jameson, Pierson; special family members, Valerie King (nee Smith) and 51 other borders whom she managed to mother from 1971 to 2006.
Son Donald predeceased her in October, 1964.
She loved to sail and golf, but her favourite activity was hosting and cooking for friends, family and strangers whenever the opportunity presented itself.
Special thanks to the staff at Calvary Place for their kindness and care of Doreen during the duration of her stay.
