DONALD EDWARD FEAVER
A mountain of a man who was always willing to stop and talk to friends... or anyone really. A football coach always willing to teach proper technique... when getting revenge. A basketball coach always willing to compliment your footwork... even with those chicken legs. A friend always willing to lend a hand... even to the back of the head. A military man always willing to teach you respect... even if it hurts. A mechanic who knew how to use a wrench... on your kneecap.
He was proudest of his family (son Don and wife Janet, son Jerry, daughter Liza, grandchildren, Alex, Alicia, Drake, Myson, Anthony, Kuira) and the relationships he built with loving friends. He picked us up when we were down, sacrificed of himself when others were in need, gave his time willingly as a mentor and advocate, looked for the positive in hard situations... he was there for us and he will be sorely missed.
Don would want you to do an unsolicited act of kindness for someone who could use it, in his name... unless there is blame involved in which case you can keep it.
An informal graveside service will be held at Brookside Cemetery at 3001 Notre Dame in Winnipeg on September 25 at 2:00 p.m.
