Dear Donna. It is with great sadness and tears I write this letter to you. I have only good memories of you. We met shortly after you moved to Mulvihill. Because of your friendship I was able to help with a round-up at the Community Pasture. A dream come true. You on Chic and me on Justin. Jacalyn was just a little girl and was thrilled to go to a rodeo with you. I enjoyed our trips to Portage to visit your Mom when she was living there. Darn toilet, but I fixed it. We had some laughs about that. You were a good cook Donna. The Chocolate cream cheese cupcakes were a specialty of yours. I have never been a fan of chocolate, but truly enjoyed those cupcakes you made. Sewing new covers for the cushions in your camper had us laughing some more. You helped me organize the Eriksdale Midnight Riders 4-H club. Together we attended many 4-H events. The night we both discovered we really liked Caesar’s. How could we forget that? In 1990 we left Eriksdale and you left around the same time. You became a part of our family then. We went South and you went West. Our paths didn’t cross very often after that but we did get to see each other at family gatherings. Rest Well Beautiful Donna, I don’t know of anyone who tackled cancer more fiercely than you. - Posted by: Carole Christiansen (Relative/Family/Friend) on: Sep 12, 2020
