HELENE SARA REMPEL
(nee LOEPP)
September 21, 1930 - September 6, 2020

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helene Rempel, at the age of 89, in Winnipeg, MB.
Born the youngest of six siblings in Mariental South Russia (Ukraine), she was predeceased by her husband Franz Rempel, parents Franz and Anna Loepp (Matthies), all her siblings; half-brothers Peter, Abraham and Jakob, and sisters, Anna and Maria.
She is survived by her four children, Frank (Heather) Rempel, Karen (Tom) Carey, Julie (Keith) Kartzewski, Dianna (Josef) Auer, along with seven grandchildren; Laura (Mathieu) Boulet, Tim, Sara, Patrick, Carson Carey, Noah and Nicolas Auer, and two great-grandchildren, Riel Carey and Holly Boulet. As well as sister-in-law Leila (Peter) Thiessen and many nieces, and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held at Chapel Lawn Cemetery on Monday, September 14.
