It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Martha Colmer, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Remembering her with love is her son Richard Colmer, and grandson Tyler William Colmer.
She was predeceased by her husband William Colmer, and her parents, Amalia Hinkleman and Wenzel Dressler. She will now be able to join her beloved sisters, Olga, Marie, Elisia, and twin sister Ida, and her brother Herbert in Eternal Peace.
She will also be missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, Linda Paradis (Paul), Judy Chartier (Emile), and nephew Allan Turkitch, as well as many others.
She and her sister-in-law Winnie Turkitch (predeceased) shared laughter and great times together. Throughout the years, she enjoyed swimming, roller skating, barn dances, dancing, and was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed volunteer work for many years at HSC. Marge was a woman of dignity with a wonderful sense of humor. She was a very outgoing person who loved traveling and visiting her loved ones.
Thank you to the caring staff at River East Personal Care Home.
As she wished, cremation will take place, and she will be laid to rest in Brookside Cemetery. Private gathering to follow.

  • It was nice to have known you. Baby sat me when I was very young. Liked having hot dogs with those toasted buns, also the cold Oreo deserts during special family occasions. Will miss you Auntie Marge. - Posted by: Mike Goodchild (Nephew) on: Sep 13, 2020
