JOHN ALFRED (JACK) PATTRICK
Jack was predeceased in October 2019 by his loving wife of 47 years Ruth (Johnson) and by his parents John Edwin William (Jack) Pattrick and Hermina (Minnie) Pattrick (nee Kwint), both of Winnipeg.
Jack was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba and grew up in West Kildonan. He was a lifetime employee 1956-1994 of CN Rail, working in both Winnipeg and Edmonton, ending his career as a Planning Officer in Economic Services.
Jack is survived by his sister Dr. Shirley Mills (Clayton) of Ottawa and nieces, Kathryn Mills (Stephen Danis) of Ottawa and Sharon Ball (Gordon) of Yorkton and nephews, Kim Johnson (Valerie) of Halifax and Lyndon Johnson (Carol) of Hyas.
We wish to express deepest appreciation to the staff of Edmonton Police, Fire, and Emergency Services, the staff of the ICU/Critical Care Unit of Grey Nuns Hospital and to his wonderfully caring neighbours.
Cremation has taken place. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held at a later date.
If you wish, donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Society or the University Hospitals Foundation, in support of the University Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta.
