SHANE DUGUAY
April 12, 1965 - September 3, 2020
Shane was predeceased by his father Robert Duguay and Kelly Braun, the love of his life.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Lin Duguay (Reg Braun, deceased), his brothers, Guy (Shelley), Lanny (Rose), Adrien, Jordan, his sister Roxanna, nephews, Harlan, Topher, Michael, niece Tamara, along with family and friends from coast to coast.
Shane was born in Winnipeg and went to Gordon Bell High School, and entered the glazing trade in his early 20's. He split his adult life between the West Cost and Manitoba. While he had no children of his own, his niece and nephews always thought of him as the fun uncle. Shane was always ready to have a water balloon fight or go sledding, camping and fishing with them.
He loved working with his hands, being outdoors and going to concerts. He had heart of gold and an old soul. He was a caring, loyal and loving man.
Our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend . . . We love you Shane, and you will always be remembered and missed.
Due to Covid 19 a celebration of Shane's life will be held at a later date.
For those who wish to, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in his name.

I seen you here unexpectedly today Shane, Your great energy jumped out at me the second I seen your picture, The many great memories and time shared with not just me but oh so many of us on Machray Ave won't any time soon be forgotten I can assure you. You were such a kind guy, always putting others above yourself, quick to make a frown turn into a smile, quick with oh so many stories of your great family, your many adventures, and who was playing the next football game on television, and so on and on....Your energy so unique and abundant, that although we fell out of touch this past few years your magical self and kind ways remain fresh in my mind and I'm most certainly sure so so many others as well...I'll bet you fought your latest opponent fierce, but this one cheats and has taken so many, that you're still the winner of the game. I wish I would have been in touch with you these past few years. It was a great time not only myself but oh so many others also all shared in with you while you lived on Machray Ave. Thank you for all the great times and for all the great memories you have left for us all. I certainly will miss you, but will still always be looking up in the skies for you every time I see workers outside those dizzying heights on the hi-rises in which you worked and loved so much. Condolences to all your family and many many friends for their great loss. Rest in peace now my friend. You will be thought of often and with every time a football game is Playing on the television .Bye, for now Shane R.I.P Kris Chilton ("The Caretaker" 178 Machray Ave) - Posted by: Kris Chilton (Friend) on: Sep 27, 2020

So sorry to hear of your loss of Shane. I’ve known Shane since we were kids. I was close friends with the whole family but hung out more with Lanny back in the day. At that time Shane was a prankster and was a typical little brother. Then he matured and became part of the crew. He had a great sense of humour and was always up for laugh. I will miss him. My thoughts and love go out to Lin, Guy, Roxanna, and Lanny. - Posted by: Rick Laviolette (Friend) on: Sep 21, 2020
