MAUREEN JUDY COHAN
April 6, 1960 - August 23, 2020
Maureen grew up in Garden City and River Heights where she enjoyed a wonderful family life with her mother Anne Cohan (nee Weiner) and her father Syd Cohan. Maureen was an amazing and inspiring big sister to Cheryl and was loved by family and friends who enriched her life, as she did theirs. She was an outstanding athlete, excelling in competitive swimming and track. She was also a gifted artist.
Maureen's greatest joy was parenting her son Scott, whom she cherished and took great pride in.
She was a beautiful, kind, gifted and strong woman.
Maureen is survived by her birth, adoptive and extended families, and by her three beautiful children, Scott, Calista and Nico Steeves.
Arrangements were entrusted to Wojcik's Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be sent to www.wojciksfuneralchapel.com
In memory of Maureen, gifts may be made to the Maureen Cohan Memorial Fund at The Winnipeg Foundation, 1350 One Lombard Place, Winnipeg, MB R3B 0X3. Telephone: 204-944-9474. www.wpgfdn.org
