(née GROOT)

On Friday, September 18, 2020, Tina's earthly journey ended, freeing her to be with her husband Meindert, who predeceased her in April of 2017. They have probably already gone camping!
Tina greeted everyone with her special smile and loved to give a hug. Nothing was more important to her than her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was happiest when her family was visiting, and she was snuggling a baby in her arms.
Tina is survived by seven children, Nick, Margie, Jack (Kim), John (Connie), Felicia (Robert), Joe (Jenn), Rina (Roy), along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Jack (Kathy), Greta, Anne (Louie), Bill (Dee), Tom (Alice), Joe (Gina), and in-laws, Agnes, Toni, Nellie, Theo, Corrie and Nol; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private immediate family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tina's memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the health care team led by Dr. Abisheva and the staff at the Pine Falls Hospital for the excellent care and compassion provided to Tina and her family.
