Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or Memory

Adjust Text Size: A+ A-

With sadness, the family announces the unexpected passing of Matthew at the age of 31 years, on September 17, 2020.
Matthew will be lovingly remembered by his son Matthew Junior; mother Diane; father Larry (Sherri); his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended families and many great friends.
Matthew loved to help people and greeted everyone with his huge smile and kind heart. Matt was easygoing, happy and content. He would give a complete stranger the last five dollar bill in his pocket because he thought that someone else could use it more than him.
In keeping with Matthew's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be held. Unfortunately, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, the service capacity will be limited to immediate family members only.
In lieu of flowers and if you so wish, donations can be made in Matthew's name to the Bruce Oake Memorial Fund.
We hope that you will take a minute to honour his memory by visiting his tribute page at
