RACHELLE GILBERTE HAUSAUER
She was born in 1939 in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, to Marie Louise (Laurin) and Olivier Tetreault, and was the youngest daughter in a family of 14 children. Rachelle immigrated from St. Boniface to Minneapolis, Minnesota in the mid-1960s, where she met and later married John Hausauer in 1968. John and Rachelle had two daughters, Layne and Danielle. After many years of working for US Bank, she chose to return to St. Boniface upon her retirement.
Rachelle was predeceased by her husband John; her parents, Olivier and Marie Louise; her brothers, Lucien, Jean, Paul and Yvon; her sisters, Jeanne, Louise, Olive, Irene, Georgette, Clairette and Irma; as well as several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Rachelle leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Layne (Amy Ruppert) and Danielle (Todd Williams); brothers, Earl (Fleurette) and Claude (Vicki); sister-in-law Robin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. We are especially grateful to her niece Jo-Ann Finney for her care and support during Mom's declining years.
As an expression of empathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society at www.cancer.ca
We would also thank Actionmarguerite St. Vital for their care of our mother.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned at a later date.
