She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur in 2008, her infant daughter Judith, 1946, son Norman, 2005, daughter-in-law Dianna, 2008, her parents, Anna and Anton Schoen, her siblings, Tony, Joseph, John, Frank, Magdalena, Agnes, Annie, Rose, Matilda and Louise.

Mary was born in Hanover, MB where the family lived until they moved to Winnipeg, where Mary met the love of her life, Arthur, they were married November 9, 1935 and were together for 72 years.
Mom never forgot a birthday or anniversary of any family members or friends, she loved shopping for cards and took great care in the ones she chose for that special person. She loved Christmas when she showered us all with gifts, ones that she bought and ones she knit with love. She was a kind and caring person and always had that beautiful smile for anyone she met, all those who knew her, loved her. She was an amazing woman with a wonderful sense of humour. She will be so sadly missed by all of us.
"I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done, I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times, and laughing times and bright and sunny days, I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before too long, and cherish those very special memories
to which I belong."
If family and friends so desire, a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

Words are hard to express to describe this wonderful soul, she was an absolute wonderful auntie. I'm 77 and she always remembers my birthday, the best way to describe her is a wonderful human being. I will miss her. - Posted by: Arthur Schoen (Nephew) on: Sep 27, 2020
Grannie you were always here for everyone who needed you. We could talk on the phone for hours and the stories and memories that you shared were always fun to listen to. You always asked me how I was doing and asked about Colin, Westyn and Wynter. You always had time for me. Your thoughtfulness and kindness made us always feel blessed by you. When we came by for a visit you always offered us chocolate chip cookies that you freshly just baked and of course coffee. I will never forget you and will always cherish my memories. You lived a long life with beautiful memories of all your family members. Now those are all our memories to carry on. Thank you grannie for always being here for us all. We will miss that beautiful smile and we will carry on that smile when we talk about you. Love ❤️ you always. Kimmy cxo - Posted by: Kim (Granddaughter ) on: Sep 26, 2020
