IRMGARD IRENE HILD
(nee SCHULTZ)

Peacefully on September 27, 2020, Irma passed away at the age of 94.
She was predeceased by her adoring husband Erwin; brother Harry, as well as extended family in Germany.
She was born in Kalisz, Poland on December 2, 1925. She met and married Erwin Hild in Germany, from where they then immigrated to Canada in 1953. Settling in Winnipeg, they joined the McDermot Avenue Baptist Church and became part of the German community. She spent her working years as a Travel Agent working with Western Overseas Agency. She and Erwin travelled extensively and in later years enjoyed going on cruises.
She had a happy and bubbly personality and her smile would light up a room. Visiting Irma and Erwin at their home was like visiting Germany, underlined by Irma's exceptionally splendid baking and cooking. Of all her accomplishments and all that she had done in her life her greatest joy was travelling. She will be dearly missed by all.
In keeping with Irma's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date.
Thank you to all staff at Meadowood Manor Personal Care Home for the excellent care that you provided to Irma, making her last years comfortable.
