Deepest condolences to Joe’s family at this sad time! Joe and I worked in the office at IBEW 2085 a number of years back, also worked in the trade together. Joe was Business Manager then, and was a very good money manager. RIP Joe. Enjoy your reunion with your loved ones on the other side! - Posted by: Barry Pawulski (Friend and coworker ) on: Oct 03, 2020

Joe, rest in peace my dear friend and neighbour. The neighbourhood is not the same since your passing. I will greatly miss our chats and your sense of humour when I encountered you during your daily walks. I will also miss seeing you going about your daily chores, in your yard. You have set an example for me in how you carried yourself with dignity and humour during the duration of your various treatments. I feel your friends are fortunate to have had your company and the time you all shared together. Take care my friend. You are, and will be, missed. A sad and sudden loss. Uncle Joe, you will be missed by many. You were also loved by many. Thankfully we had a good visit before you passed. Love Valerie Mahoney - Posted by: Valerie Mahoney (niece) on: Oct 03, 2020

My deepest condolances to the Miller family. When I was a young Journeyman in the trade my first job as a union Steward was at Brandon steam plant. Joe appointed me to the position and I am so very grateful he got me into the labour movement. Joe was a great Tradesman with a very strong belief of the union movement. He shared his stories many times about the struggles he went through as a young man in the trade, including strikes and hard times. I am very thankful that Joe was a pioneer that helped make the IBEW LOCAL 2085 BROTHERHOOD a better place to be for future members. Joe will be missed. God bless Joe and the life he lived, may he forever rest in peace. Russ Shewchuk - Posted by: Russ Shewchuk (Friend and fellow IBEW 2085 BUSINESS MANAGER ) on: Oct 03, 2020
