In 1973, Betty spent 6 months in preparation for a presentation, on the life and spirit of our Foundress Euphrasie, for our RNDM summer renewal program. She spent long hours of contemplation reflecting on the Euphrasie's letters sent to her sisters who were being sent out from France and England to faraway lands to bring the gospel of Christ. Betty was deeply moved by the contemplation at the heart of Euprasie,s zeal for God. Betty followed that path of contemplation through to the House of Prayer in Winnipeg. Betty shared her deep sprit of prayer with all who shared in times of retreat there. Thank you Betty. My sincere sympathy to her siblings and friends. May you rest in Peace and love of God Betty.
